Food Share Partner

Thank you to the entire Sharing Excess staff who supply us with weekly food drop-offs.

We distribute food to the community not only at our location but also all over the city, especially in the black community. Helping with food scarcity and hunger during the COVID-19 crisis is imperative. Along with Sharing Excess, it is our goal for the work they are doing to be recognized, and for the community of Philadelphia to realize how important they are to us

About our Program

TCRC Community Healing Center in conjunction with SharingExcess.com and CaringForFriends.com currently distributes food to over 5,000 families.

TCRC has been able to maximize the work begun in 2020. In the month of September 2023, TCRC-CHC fed 23, 126 people, 9,387 adults, 9,066 children and 4,673 seniors in West Philadelphia, Nicetown, Germantown, North Philly and North Central Philadelphia.

We are seeking to establish a distribution center to better serve targeted populations in Philadelphia. The purchase of a used refrigerated box truck to enable our drivers and helpers to access food resources in Bucks County, Montgomery County, and New Jersey would expand our capacity, and allow us to increase our mission of #FeedingPhillyFamilies.

To show the impact our food pantry has had on the community,
we would like to share the statistics of our
monthly giveaway.
